This was my first 3D image of the Phoenix Mars Lander, which I created in 2003. The Phoenix Mars Lander was selected by NASA to be the first Mars Scout mission and was launched in 2007. It landed in the northern polar regions and dug up soil to investigate recently discovered subsurface ice. This image was also created in a 35mm stereo slide format which is much better than the anaglyph version. |
