Mars Surveyor 2001 Lander (cancelled)

The Mars Surveyor 2001 lander in Valles Marineris. The Marie Curi rover is in the foreground. This image was my first big NASA success. Too bad it had to be cancelled after the Mars 98 disasters. Even so, it managed to wind up on a postage stamp issued by Palau.	The Mars Surveyor 2001 lander at a different landing site.
