The end of my day on Taseq West was when I hiked up over a big snowbank to the top of the ridge. I didn't want to miss seeing the Taseq lake. You can see that it was well worth the effort. The lake was big and wild looking. At one end could be seen dramatic mountain peaks, see closeup below.

"Taseq" is Greenlandic for "lake". I'll call it Taseq Lake because we don't know if it has any other name.
