This panorama shows "The Hugeness
of Illimaussaq" - the descriptive phrase coined by Herb
Yeates.. For instance,
look closely over on the right and you
can see our campsite, a tiny line of colored tents. My "stealth
tent", as usual, is not visible. This location was just
a tiny part of the entire Kangerlussaq fjord, let alone the Illimaussaq
complex itself. It's even more awe-inspiring when you consider
how small the entire Narsaq area is in relation to Greenland.
Such were the thoughts that ran through my mind at "Kanger." |
