That's me inside a reconstruction of
a typical Greenlandic house from mid-20th century Narsaq. Narsaq's
not that old! It was part of a museum tour some of us went on
during a short break from collecting. I was beyond the point
of exhaustion by then but didn't want to miss the museum. Fortunately
by this time I didn't have to sleep up at the base camp in the
valley and was instead spending the night in my own room at the
"Rock Hut hotel" in Narsaq. Especially since the campsite
was overrun by water after a night of rain. |
