Everyone returned back down the hill except Herb, Lee and me. The three of us waited until dark for some night-lamping on the tugtupite dumps. Why the others bailed out on what was probably the single greatest collecting opportunity of Geo Adventure 2004 is something you'll have to ask them. In addition to being the Fourth of July it was also Herb's birthday. The three of us had our own little celebration, the main event being an all-night tugtupite-collecting party. I set up my US and Greenland flags especially for the celebration. To me it was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to have some fun in a very special place.
