Mars Multi-Scout Landers
mission concept poster
The Multi-Scout concept starts with
an orbiter carrying eight landers. Once safely in orbit, the
landers would be deployed two at a time. The entire process could
take a year or more to allow time for careful consideration of
each potential landing site. The landers are small and would
carry only a camera and a few instruments to scout out the terrain.
