I had to create this image in a hurry to accompany a press release about NASA HQ's decision to send a rover in 2003. HQ chose a rover instead of an orbiter. I adapted the rover and lander from CAD drawings as well as I could. Of coures, looking at it now, it seems like the drawings might have been wrong - that big rover could never have fit inside that lander! More likely my lander was much too small. But it didn't matter because it was a rush job. The rover was the story, not the image, thankfully.
