Collecting Zunyite at the Purple Cow Ledge

\

George lets his friend "AJ" have a shot at the zunyite. I think A.J. is a geology teacher in Phoenix, in any case he had volunteered to come along.

The sun was still behind the hill, thank goodness, because in early the temperatures are extremely high. We did manage to collect some zunyite but it was difficult with the daylight. I tried to find some using my UV light under a black plastic sheet but it was already getting pretty hot.

Continue to the Arizona sun hits the Purple Cow Ledge.
