Living in Malibu and Newport Beach

Beginning around 1952, my Dad's job with Bechtel began to require long-term travel. The first place my family moved was up to Vancouver, B. C. in Canada. Then just before I was born they moved again - this time to the coast of sunny Southern California, first to Malibu then to the Lido Isle neighborhood of Newport Beach.
